Templates are designed to help you get started quickly and streamline your workflow. They allow you to generate new objects — such as segmentations, campaigns, and more.
The feature is organized into three sections: Gallery, Overview, and Configuration.
Template Gallery
The Gallery is where you can browse all available templates on AmpliPhi. Templates are grouped into two categories:
Community templates
Public templates available to everyone. They’re typically designed for general use cases or quick starts, and are often created by our team.
Workspace templates
Templates created within your own organization. These are usually customized to fit your team’s specific needs.
Template Overview
The Overview section displays all the details and requirements of a template. Information shown depends on the type of object the template generates (Segmentation, campaign, channels). All requirements are located on the right side of the overview and the template can only be used if the requirements are met.
Template Configuration
The Configuration section lets you customize the object before generating it. This is useful if you need to tweak an object to better suit your needs. Available options vary depending on the object type:
Campaign Configuration
Channels — Channels can be renamed (for a new channel), switched to an existing channel or excluded.
Systems — Systems can be renamed or excluded.
Segmentation — You can switch to an existing segmentation or list of constituents in the segmentation can be renamed (for a new list), switched to an existing list or excluded.
Segmentation Configuration
List of Constituents — Lists of constituents in the segmentation can be renamed (for a new list), switched to an existing list or excluded.
Manage Your Templates
Create a Template
Creating a template from an object (Segmentation, campaign) can be triggered by selecting the Create a template action in the object's dropdown. A template requires a name and the description is optional.
A validator will highlight any conflicts before creating the template.
Update Template Object Structure
Updating a template object structure can be triggered by selecting the Update template action in the object's dropdown. A dialog will confirm which template you're editing and whenv it was last updated.
Info:
Only templates created by your organization can be updated.

Delete a Template
